Brittany Zwicker
Brittany was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky, where she worked for the university’s Residence Life Recycling and Sustainability Program and coordinated Greenthumb, the campus environmental club. Upon graduating from UK in 2008, she became the coordinator for the Bluegrass Rain Garden Alliance and an intern at the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). At AASHE, she worked on continuing development of the Interactive Resource Center and the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment. In the fall of 2009, Brittany moved to Boston to pursue a Master’s Degree at Tufts University in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning. In her free time, Brittany enjoys hiking, reading, yoga, growing vegetables, and exploring Boston.
