Second Nature | Rima Mulla

Rima Mulla, Communications Associate

Rima Mulla joined Second Nature in September 2009 as its Communications Associate. In this role, she manages the graphical and textual content of the web sites, email communications, and print materials from Second Nature and its initiatives. Her design and verbal skills aid in the implementation of both the organization’s targeted and wide-ranging messaging.

Rima moved to the United States from Saudi Arabia for high school and subsequently attended Boston University where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. After working in BU’s External Programs office, she relocated to Washington, DC for five years. During that time, she earned her M.A. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and advised US government agencies and NGOs on communication approaches to enhance dialogue with Arabic speaking audiences. Prior to Second Nature, Rima was Interim Director for BU’s Office of Student Programs & Leadership, where she worked to increase both the recruitment and retention of undergraduates, as well as to foster the student body leadership potential.
