Rima Mulla, Communications Manager

Rima Mulla joined Second Nature in September 2009 as its Communications Associate and was promoted to Communications Manager in August of 2010. In her role, she manages content for Second Nature's web sites, email communications, and print materials.

Rima moved to the United States from Saudi Arabia for high school and subsequently attended Boston University where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. After working in BU’s External Programs office, she relocated to Washington, DC for five years. During that time, she earned her M.A. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and worked as a consultant advising US government agencies and NGOs on communication approaches to enhance dialogue with Arabic speaking audiences. Prior to Second Nature, Rima was Interim Director for BU’s Office of Student Programs & Leadership, where she worked to increase both the recruitment and retention of undergraduates, as well as to foster the student body leadership potential.
